This pattern is inspired by paper foldings called origamis. Each floral pattern has been created from imaginary fold processed as beams. Colour is mixed with the graphic network to annihilate figurative codes.

Cet imprimé est inspiré des pliages en papier appelés origamis. Le motif floral a été créé à partir de plis imaginaires traités comme des rayons. Le travail de la couleur vient s’entremêler à ce réseau graphique pour annuler les codes figuratifs.

Gaël Le Neillon was born in Paris in 1977. After an art bachelor in 2000 she moved toward illustration and pattern design. Japanese patterns then became a main source of inspiration.
Gaël now works with some books editors, prêt-à-porter, linen, and children’s universe.

Gael Le Neillon est née à Paris en 1977. Après un diplôme universitaire en arts plastiques en 2000, elle s'oriente petit à petit vers l'illustration et le design textile où les motifs japonais deviennent une source importante d'inspiration.
Gael travaille aujourd’hui pour l'édition (albums, papeterie, jeux, loisirs créatifs), le prêt-à-porter luxe, le linge de maison et l'univers de l'enfant.
